Dress Code & Appearance

Your appearance reflects the professionalism of First Choice Healthcare. A clean, appropriate uniform protects both you and the people you support.

Uniform Requirements

You must wear the official First Choice Healthcare uniform at all times while on duty. This is paired with plain black trousers (not leggings or jeans) and black closed-toe flat shoes suitable for a care environment. Your clothing must be clean, comfortable, and free from hazards.

Hand and Nail Hygiene

Personal Hygiene

You must maintain a high standard of personal hygiene at all times. You must not smell of cigarette smoke when attending a client's home. Shower or bathe before shifts, use deodorant, and ensure your uniform is freshly laundered for each shift.

Remember

Your appearance is the first impression a client and their family will have of you and of First Choice Healthcare. Professional presentation is not vanity — it is respect.
