How We Work Together

Successful Working Relationships

A strong working relationship is built on mutual commitment. We take our responsibilities to you seriously and ask the same in return. This section sets out what you can expect from us and what we expect from you — clear, fair, and designed to help everyone succeed.

What We Commit to You / What We Expect from You

What we commit to you
We will: Treat you with respect and dignity at all times|We expect: Read this handbook thoroughly and refer back to it
We will: Listen to your ideas, concerns, and feedback|We expect: Share concerns early — don't let issues build up
We will: Communicate regularly and keep you informed|We expect: Keep your personal information up to date
What we expect from you
We will: Give you advance notice of schedules wherever possible|We expect: Attend all supervisions, meetings, and training sessions
We will: Provide training, support, and development opportunities|We expect: Bring your full self to the role every shift
We will: Be transparent about expectations and standards|We expect: Ask for help when you need it — there is no penalty for asking

Why This Matters

Our clients rely on consistency, trust, and professionalism. When both sides of this relationship are strong, the people we care for receive better support. If you ever feel we are not meeting our commitments, please speak up — we want to know.

Open Door Policy

You can raise any concern with your manager at any time. If you are not comfortable speaking to your direct manager, contact any member of the senior leadership team. We would always rather hear about a problem early than discover it too late.
